Cassie is a new addition to the "Bandit" story crew. She may or may not be the narrator, since I love writing in bad, exaggerated "western" accents.
Like all the previous "Bandit" characters, her main design is stolen from a real person- and her's is probably the most well known yet. I wanted her to be ridiculous in her attitude to the "Wild West" to the extreme of the old Wild West shows... so I chose Annie Oakley, who has become a bit of a carricature herself in today's society.
Anyway, Cassie is the grand-daughter of Sheriff William Barnes and therefor, apparently, knows the whole story. But she is also a bit of a liar, being in show buisness and all. For all we know she isn't even related to him at all!
I think she'll be a fun character.
I would like critique on proportions and costume-ry, please. But PLEASE ignore the BAD watercolor pencil work... I just wanted to give an idea of the colors, I could have done better with shading and such if I had wanted to do more.
I'm related to Frank Butler, the man who married Annie Oakley, by blood.
I love this new character. She's cute and a little dull sounding with her accent and country look, but that just makes her so much more interesting than most female characters. I also love that you based her off of Annie Oakley.
